Mission Operations Center

Within 13,400 GSF of the Space Telescope Science Institute’s Muller Building, on the Johns Hopkins University Campus, the James Webb Space Telescope Mission Operations Center occupies approximately 7,400 GSF of space located in the north wing of the third floor.  The renovation of the designated area included a complete interior demolition, reconfiguration and construction of new ceilings, access flooring, paritions, doors, frames and hardware, finishes as well as new custom millwork, furnishings, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls and networking systems.  The unaffected areas of the building remained fully occupied and functional throughout construction.
